Gary Megson has finally managed to replace Nicolas Anelka with the club record signing of Johan Elmander for a deal worth over £10m. The Swede signed a three-year-deal at the Reebok with Daniel Braaten leaving for Toulouse in the opposite direction.

Braaten leaves for Toulouse

Toulouse have agreed a deal for Daniel Braaten to leave Bolton for an undisclosed fee. Meanwhile Johan Elmander is rumoured to have had a medical with Bolton this morning and to be unveiled as Wanderers’ record signing later today or tomorrow.
