Bolton’s match against Blackburn on the 23rd of February will now take place a day later, on Sunday 24th February, k.o. 3pm, due to the UEFA Cup. Bolton will travel to Ewood Park only a month and a half after facing them at the Reebok, on the 13th of January.
Tomorrow’s visit to Sunderland looks like Gary Megson’s best chance yet to get his, and Bolton’s, first away win, with Sunderland in bad form and sitting just above Derby at the bottom of the Premier League. Joey O’Brien could start after missing a couple of months with a hamstring injury, having previously just recovered from the knee injury that kept him out all of last season. Al Habsi may start in goal, as Jaaskelainen is doubtful with a wrist injury.
