Gary Megson has said that El-Hadji Diouf could still be playing for Bolton next season, despite Diouf publicly announcing his plans to leave on several occasions. The Senegalese forward did a lap of honour after the victory over Sunderland, and in a post match interview said that the game was his last at the Reebok for Bolton. However Megson has said that he will do his best to stop Diouf leaving, and he won’t be going cheap.
He’s made this statement about this being his last season. But he’s a great character and I know him well enough to say one thing one minute and another thing the next.
I don’t want him to go anywhere but having said that, if somebody does come in for him they’re going to have to pay a lot of money to get him.
He’s got six goals this season, but I think he’s capable of getting way more than that. It’s not a done deal that he will be going and there have to be a lot of things that trigger that.
I don’t want him to go but if he does then it will be the best for Bolton and nothing else - and we’ll make sure we get a good fee for him.
- Gary Megson

let him go….,
he needs to play better football…
I Agree With **foodbwfc** He Needs To Move On … The Time Is Right
We Just Need Someone As Good As Him And A Good Striker
An Lets Hope Jussi Stays If Not Al Habsi Is Looking Very Promising !!!
Sexiest thing and most talented player on the team. Letting him go shows how shortsighted Gray Megson is……..
we need him to stay!
